The Genetics of Politics: A Flawed Concept of Power

I’m sure all of you remember how our last president, Daren Trump, (Don + Karen = Daren), brought aid to Puerto Rico after a major disaster there. He threw paper towels to them so they could clean up the mess. To me that stupid act is indicative of a person totally devoid of the Spiritual attributes required for Empathy.

From that act alone I think one can see why Daren would support Vlad bombing civilian housing in Ukraine. It is apparent that Vlad and Daren share a common disdain for people in general and people of different genetic heritage specifically. However, because of that act and his support of Vlad I can not see how practical people can support such genetically supported behaviors from The Daren. The reason I’m at a loss is because politics based on genetics doesn’t make any sense.

I’m a boomer. I remember the Vietnam war. I remember that when guys came back from that war they referred to the enemy as “gooks” and I can understand why. They were nearly required to talk about the enemy in that manner in order to build a hate that would kill the enemy. That is the nature of war, after all. But it was and still is a stupid genetic differentiation. Necessary at the moment, perhaps, but none the less a stupid reason to attempt to justify an effort designed to bring about political change.

It is likely that genetically based politics has its roots in early Hindu philosophy which promoted caste systems of thought and social division. At the top of that system were the priests, then came warriors, after that came merchants and landowners and last and certainly least came commoners. Those were not genetic distinctions but rather socioeconomic distinctions. But the idea of Aryan superiority came about based on the Hindu caste concepts. During the last 200 years or so there have been many attempts to justify the politics of genetics but none have been proven to actually exist. The entire Nazi political scheme relied on such a caste system but they converted it to a genetic caste system. Daren has gone a step further. He’s managed to make the caste system a political movement based on the genetic make up of a people.

It even appears that Daren has assigned his own genetic values to behavior such as his concepts of “powerful”. Of course he has encouragement. The modern Hindu movement in the US, at least, has issued statements that claim the Daren is the only person who can save mankind. They do not, however, state why or how that is possible. And they are a long ways from stating how they managed to come up with such a thought. I mean, this is a fellow who has not actually been successful at much of anything. He couldn’t make money with a casino, with a university, with hotels or even condos. It does appear that he makes a lot of money laundering money for Russians and other perhaps nefarious entities, but not on legitimate business.

I can’t prove that is what Daren excels at, but there are a number of publicly reported stories of condos in Panama, golf courses in Scotland and even houses in the US where Daren benefitted through mysterious ways, resulting in two or three week turn around deals, netting ridiculous profits and suspiciously fortunate coincidences resulting in equally suspicious Daren bail out rescues. Other than “The Apprentice” the guy has not been successful at much at all, other than self promotion. That self promotion extends even to his continuing support of genetically based politics. He isn’t proposing a wall to keep Canadians out of the US, not that Canadians would want to come to the US. And I suppose that could be a factor.

So based on Daren’s support for strong, tough autocrats involved in political genetics, may we surmise that he would place an armed force on the Mexican border just before declaring the state of Jalisco a free and independent country, then send the armed forces into Mexico to claim Jalisco for his own? Jalisco is the only place in the world where processing agave plants into an alcoholic beverage which can be called tequila is legal, so that would be a justifiable reason to invade Mexico with a peace keeping force, wouldn’t it? Could he also invade Canada with a peace keeping force to protect maple syrup production? I mean maple syrup is essential for US breakfasts just as tequila is essential for US parties.

I agree with all of you that are reading this and saying to yourselves, that doesn’t make any sense. No it doesn’t, does it? That illustrates the problem I have with political genetics. It doesn’t make any sense because it is just not practical.

Those old Hindu ideas about castes and superior human beings defy good old horse sense. This is the nearly post Covid world. People are fed up with being forced into subservience even if some folks are expressing those feelings in strange ways. Many people are quitting their jobs due to too much stress, some don’t even want to consider masks, others are done with social distancing. They’re stopping to smell the coffee and the roses and when they stand up they look around and say, “What am I doing?” They don’t want to live in the corporate caste system. And I doubt they want to live in a genetically determined political caste system either.

It seems to me that as unpopular as old Joe is at the moment he is more like Steve Jobs simply showing us what an iPhone can do than he is like a Steve Bannon telling us what is politically correct. To me it seems ever so practical to adhere to the “fix the problem not the blame” philosophy. The Daren habit of blaming anything and everything for his failures can not be the seeds of progress. It hasn’t been for Russia either. No country has ever succeeded with that policy. Stalin tried to blame the serfs for his problems. No matter how many he murdered the problems remained and multiplied. Pol Pot killed thousands if not more but did nothing for his country, Juan Perón made people disappear but that did nothing to stabilize Argentina.

If we are to remain a force in the world we are going to refrain from genetically motivated politics and espouse in word and deed, “All men are created equal.” There is profound truth in that statement which has proved to be true in economics as well as international leadership. I can not see where it is practical or even makes sense to go home with anyone or anything that did not bring us all to this huge global village party. It’s painfully obvious that Vlad is attacking Ukraine for some reason other than political necessity and it is just as obvious that Daren is claiming he won the last election for reasons which are not practical and make no sense at all. I suppose we could say that those two bros represent the best that genetically based politics has to offer. And it just ain’t all that much.
